Black Mental Health Matters

Being considered a “minority” effects us.

Being treated differently, effects us.

The African American culture has been plagued with stereotypes, racism, violence, and fear.

Growing up being told to be scared of the cops.

Growing up and being treated as a sub-human, trying to “overcome”

As soon as we are born it seems like the world informs us of how low we are.

Does anyone consider how that could effect someones mental health?

Being black does not make you different.

We are human and should not be solely identified by our race or color.

You matter and your feelings matter.

If someone makes you feel any different, then they don’t matter.

But don’t let the few bad, make you feel like you aren’t human.

Humans love one another.
